Waterways and Wine - Lochmara

Welcome to your day out in the beautiful Queen Charlotte Sound and Marlborough's stunning wineries.  

You will need to report at 8.30am to the Lochmara Lodge office on the Picton Waterfront (right next door to the Sounds Connection office); Contact us if you need a lift.return to Picton at 11.30am. Time for a wander before reporting to the Sounds Connection office at 12.45pm for your 1:00pm departure on your Half Day Wine Tour; returning at  5/5.30pm. (Available for the summer months, November-April.)

Sit back and enjoy your skipper’s commentary on the natural environment and local history on your way to Lochmara Lodge for brunch. Upon arrival, take time to explore the Lodge's wildlife recovery, nature walks and arts centre before brunching at the café. Choose a light option from the menu and enjoy the tranquil bush setting overlooking the stunning bay following with a complimentary coffee or tea before returning to Picton to join us for your afternoon wine tour. You will be collected by your local and knowledgeable guide who will ensure a mix of information and fun while you get to taste, learn about and enjoy Marlborough’s amazing wines! You will visit approximately four handpicked wineries before returning to your accommodation or suitable drop off point.
